This course has been updated through and
including SSARS 24 and has been written by actual
practitioners. It includes dozens of example report
letters, engagement letters, client letters and unofficial
checklists. It has been described by attendees as
the most useful accounting course they have ever
attended. The instructor begins with a rapid review
of the latest SSARS and alerts and then discusses
the requirements for prepared financial statements,
including disclaimers and an engagement letter
example. The course then moves into an in-depth
review of the requirements for compilations, again
with engagement letters and example report letters.
The instructor also discusses real-life implementation
of tax basis reporting under the SPRF requirements.
The course concludes with practical real-life review
reporting requirements, engagement letters and
report letters.
