The presenters on identity theft include speakers from IRS with knowledge on data breaches and other identity theft issues. Identity theft issues for clients and tax practitioners will be addressed. Tentatively, a speaker from the FBI will also be with us on this day.
Toice on Iowa tax issues will be covered by specialist from Iowa Workforce Development and the Iowa Department of Revenue. The Iowa Department of Revenue speakers will address both income tax issues and sales tax issues. They have been asked to cover problem areas, new law, and review old laws.
This day should qualify for 8 hours of CPE. IRS approval is uncertain at this time.
